The ‘Next Generation Touring Car’ regulations – more commonly known simply as NGTC – were introduced into the BTCC back in 2011 when five teams took on the challenge of running cars built to the new rules.
Since then, the regulations have played a part in the series going from strength to strength, with capacity grids and high quality racing to match anything that has gone before.
What follows are a full list of statistics to cover the NGTC era, from that first race featuring ‘Next Generation’ cars back in 2011 through to the current day…
